Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Veda Health website and the concierge telehealth services we provide in New York and New Jersey. By using this site or becoming a patient, you agree to these terms.
1. No Medical Advice on This Website
The content on this website is for general information only. It is not medical advice and does not create a physician-patient relationship. That relationship begins only after you complete an intake, are accepted as a patient, and consult with a licensed Veda Health physician. Never delay seeking care because of something you read here. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and physically located in New York or New Jersey at the time of your visit to receive care from Veda Health. Not every patient is a candidate for every protocol; your physician may decline to prescribe a therapy that is not clinically appropriate for you.
3. Telehealth Services
Care at Veda Health is delivered by video and secure messaging. Telehealth has limits: your physician cannot perform a physical examination, and some conditions require in-person evaluation. You consent to receiving care by telehealth and understand that you may be referred to in-person care when it is warranted.
4. Prescriptions and Therapies
Compounded therapies and other treatments are prescribed only when clinically indicated, and are dispensed by licensed pharmacies. Veda Health does not sell medications directly. Prescriptions are not guaranteed as part of any program, consultation, or fee. You agree to use prescribed therapies as directed and to report side effects promptly.
5. Fees and Payment
Veda Health is a cash-pay practice. We do not bill insurance, and our fees are not reimbursed by insurers on your behalf. Program and consultation fees, along with the separate costs of laboratory work and medications, are disclosed before you commit. Fees are due at the time of service unless another arrangement is agreed in writing.
6. Cancellations and Missed Visits
Please give us at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a visit. Missed visits and late cancellations may be charged, as the time is reserved for you.
7. Your Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your health history, medications, and supplements, and to keep that information current. Protocols are built from what you tell us and what your labs show; incomplete information can make care unsafe.
8. Intellectual Property
The text, images, and design of this website belong to Veda Health and may not be copied, reproduced, or republished without written permission.
9. Third-Party Links
This website may link to third-party sites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, products, or privacy practices.
10. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
Individual results vary. Nothing on this website is a promise of any particular outcome. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Veda Health is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits liability for professional medical services, which is governed by applicable law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The version posted on this page is the one in effect. Continued use of the website or our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
